2015 season - there has been solid numbers at training, with over 45 players attending the sessions so far.
Western Kangaroos Superules Club will field two sides for the 2015 season – the over 35s who will compete in the Division 1 of the Victorian Metro Superules
competition, and a Victorian Masters Football League (over 40's) Reserves team.
Supers commence at 2.30pm - players must be at the ground by 1.30pm
Masters commence at 12.30pm – players must be at the ground by 11.45am
The rules of the competition are similar to regular AFL, with each side fielding 22 players, although some rules are lightly modified to reduce the risk of injury;
- No knees
- 20 minute quarters (no time on)
- Play once a fortnight
- Drop kick goals worth 9 point
Seasons are 11 rounds long (which includes 1 BYE for each team in the competition) with matches played every second Sunday.
Like the AFL, finals are played at the end of the home and away season, and players also have the opportunity to compete in the National Titles, with
Vic Metro and Vic Country squads selected to play against the other states and territories. Information regarding these opportunities will be posted on
our facebook site and team app.
