NEW MEMBERS WELCOME

Players, parents & supporters, welcome to Season 2013

We welcome you and invite any new children and parents to register, find out more about our club, and meet our Junior coaches. This season we are looking to field 2x Auskick sessions (Fri PM and Sat AM), U9, U10, U11, U12/13, U14 and U16 teams. It is likely that we will again field an additional Junior team compared to last year.

AUSKICK

The Sunshine Football Club is running its Auskick sessions again this year. This year we will be running sessions on Friday evenings from 5:00pm and Saturday mornings at 8:30am and go for an hour.

WANTED: JUNIOR COACHES

In preparation for the 2013 season your club is seeking the following Junior Coaching Positions: Under 16s, Under 14s, Under 12s, Under10s. The following skills/abilities are essential: All applicants must have a Level One coaching accreditation or be prepared to complete the appropriate coaching course, have a Working with Children's Check accreditation, and a passion for teaching and coaching the skills and the fundamentals of the game. Applications setting out your qualifications and experience should be submitted via email to  secretary@sunshinekangaroos.com.au.

The Sunshine Football Club aims to deliver best-practice Junior programs to its Junior members and parents.

Our Club values its members and their individual contributions, is strongly family oriented and encourages the development of friendships, football and life skills among its members and the wider Football community.

Our Junior teams strive to be competitive, whilst consistently demonstrating a high degree of respect and sportsmanship towards officials and opposing teams. All our members are viewed as ambassadors of the Club.

• The Sunshine Football Club has more than 750 members;

• Our playing membership consists of approximately 100 senior players and 190 juniors;

• 3 senior teams, 6 junior teams (U9/10/12/13/14/16) and our Auskick program;

• In both 2011 and 2012, Junior participation grew by 10%;

Juniors;

As in previous seasons, all junior fixtures are released late and are subject to regular change.

We will keep you all informed as much as possible. All we know so far is we start on Sunday April 22^nd.

Coterie Memberships

At our Club we have the privilege of having a wonderful group of people who are unwaivering in their support for our Club: The Coterie Group.

Although most Coterie members will see their contribution as a donation, the membership provides great value, including Presentation Night and MidYear Ball tickets, a 200 club draw number, exclusive merchandise, access to the annual marquee bbq and more.

Every year we have been able to grow our Coterie membership and this year we are getting very close to having 100 Coterie members. We need 15 new members to reach our goal, so we have attached our 2013 Coterie package for your consideration - We would love for you to join us in this exclusive group of members.
